Does photo booth rental include travel to York Region?

Yes. There are no travel fees anywhere we go, including the northern townships. Newmarket is about forty minutes from our shop in Concord and Kettleby a little less. We build the drive into our own schedule instead of your invoice.

Do you cover King City, Kleinburg and Nobleton?

All of them, plus Aurora, Newmarket, Kettleby, Schomberg and Stouffville. They share the same venue types and the same practical constraints, which is why they are on one page rather than six thin ones.

What is different about a country or estate venue?

Three things. Power is often further away than in a banquet hall, so we may need a longer covered run. Ceremonies are frequently outdoors, which means the booth needs shade if it is outside. And access can be gravel or grass rather than a service door, which we plan for if you tell us the venue.

Can you set up in a marquee or tent?

Yes, and it is common up here. The two things to confirm are a covered power source and the tent's peak height if you want the 360 platform, which needs about ten feet of clearance. Open-air and glam fit comfortably in almost any marquee.

How late can the booth run at a rural venue?

As late as your venue's own curfew allows, which in the townships is often earlier than in the city because of noise by-laws. Check your end time with the venue and we will fit the booked hours inside it.

Why this is one page and not six

We could have built a separate page for King City, another for Kleinburg, another for Aurora and so on. Plenty of companies do. The honest problem is that we would have had almost nothing different to say on each one, and a page that exists only to repeat a town name is a waste of your time.

What these towns genuinely share is more interesting than what separates them: country and estate venues rather than ballrooms, more outdoor ceremonies, power that is further from the booth than you would like, and access that is sometimes gravel. Below is the town-by-town detail that actually differs, then the practical notes that apply across all of them.

The village and the McMichael grounds above the Humber Valley produce a very different wedding from a Highway 7 ballroom. Smaller, often outdoors for the ceremony, and much more likely to want the glam look than a full prop bar.

King City & Nobleton

Golf and country club territory, seasonal, generally mid-April to mid-November. Dining-room scale rather than ballroom scale. Worth confirming ceiling height early if the 360 platform is what you want.

Kettleby & Schomberg

~30 min

Estate grounds and private-lake properties. Beautiful, and the most likely of any location we serve to need a long covered power run and a planned position for the booth relative to the marquee.

Aurora

~35 min

A mix of historic properties and conventional function rooms, so it swings between the estate pattern and the banquet pattern depending on the venue. Tell us which and we will treat it accordingly.

Newmarket

~40 min

The largest and most conventional of the northern towns, with farm and country properties on the outskirts alongside standard indoor function space. Year-round rather than strictly seasonal.

Stouffville

~40 min

Rural and barn-style venues to the east. Same considerations as Kettleby: check power, check cover, check the access route if it has rained.

What country venues need that ballrooms do not

Power that is genuinely reachable

A banquet hall always has an outlet within twenty-five feet. A barn, a marquee or a lakeside terrace often does not. We carry the run, but we need to know it is coming so we bring enough of it and route it safely. Tell us the venue when you enquire.

Shade if the booth is outside

Direct sun beats the booth's own flash, which gives you squinting faces and blown highlights, and heat is hard on a dye-sub printer. A marquee, a covered terrace or a deep overhang all work. Open lawn in the afternoon does not, and we would rather say so at booking than turn up and improvise.

An access route that works

Gravel drives and grass parking are normal up here and entirely manageable, but they change how long the load-in takes and where we can get the van. We arrive about an hour before your booked start as standard; for a rural venue we will often make that longer at our own cost.

A curfew you have actually checked

Township noise by-laws frequently end events earlier than city venues do. Confirm your hard stop with the venue, then we will fit the booth's booked hours inside it rather than having the music cut while forty people are still queuing.

Which booth suits the north

The glam booth is a natural fit for estate and country weddings, and it costs nothing extra. These venues are usually beautiful already, and black and white sits inside that rather than competing with it.

The 360 platform is the one to check rather than assume, because marquee peaks and old estate interiors often lack the roughly ten feet of clearance the arm needs. Send us the venue and we will confirm before you pay a deposit.

What it costs

Exactly the same as everywhere else, which is the point of having no travel fees. From $550 for two hours, $750 for three, $1,000 for four, staffed throughout, unlimited sessions and two prints per round. Glam and 360 are priced the same as the open-air booth.
