What it actually is

The glam booth is not a different machine. It is the same open-air booth with the lighting changed and a different processing chain behind the shutter. Soft, even, high-key light from the front, almost no shadow under the chin, then skin smoothing and a black and white conversion before the strip prints.

People know this look without being able to name it. It is the lighting used on step-and-repeat walls at premieres, and it is why guests post glam output without being asked. A standard colour strip with a foam moustache in it goes on the fridge. A glam frame goes on Instagram.

It is included, not an upsell

Glam used to be a $75 add-on. It is not any more. If you want the glam look, say so when you book and we set the booth up that way at no extra charge. Same hours, same attendant, same two prints per round, same package price.

Where it earns its place

Glam is not automatically the right call. It suits some rooms and actively works against others.

Product launches and brand activations

This is the strongest case. Your creative team gets usable portrait assets out of an event that was going to happen anyway, and the look already matches the press photography around it. Pair it with the green screen on our corporate setup and the backdrop becomes your step-and-repeat without anybody freighting a physical banner into the room.

Weddings where the room is already designed

If a couple has spent real money on florals and lighting, a colour booth with a bright backdrop can fight the room. Glam sidesteps that entirely, because black and white does not clash with anything. It works particularly well at the Vaughan halls we run most often, where the ballrooms are warm and heavily lit.

Milestone birthdays and anniversaries

Glam flatters, and at a sixtieth or a fortieth that matters more than at a twenty-first. Guests who normally avoid the booth will use this one.

Where we would talk you out of it

Kids' events and family days. Glam wants faces held still for a beat, and a nine-year-old with a pool noodle is not doing that. Standard colour and a full prop bar will get you far better pictures. Same for anything where the point is the props rather than the people.

What changes on the night

Very little, which is the point. We arrive about an hour before your start time, tape cables flat and run test strips, exactly as we would otherwise. The attendant stays for your booked hours and keeps the queue moving.

The two differences worth knowing: the booth needs a slightly more controlled light position, so we will want a spot that is not directly under a colour-changing uplight, and guests take marginally longer per session because they are posing rather than clowning. Over a three-hour package that difference is small, but it is real.

Prints still land in about ten seconds, two copies per round, and digitals typically within a few minutes. Your full gallery arrives within about a day.

Booking it

Glam is a setup choice, not a package tier. Pick your hours on the pricing page, then tell us you want glam. Packages start at $550 for two hours and there are no travel fees anywhere we go.

If you are weighing this against the orbiting platform, the 360 booth page covers where that one wins instead.
